Walkin', by Miles Davis

It had been quite a while since Mr Pinky played this 1954 Prestige recording.

It's part of four recordings that Davis did over some two days to finish off his contract with that record company.

My god, what a blast it is. The opening 13 minute track Walkin' just chuffs along at a terrific pace, and the Dizzie Gillespie track Blue'n'Boogie will keep you peakin' and a freakin' for eight fab minutes.

Words cannot express how great an album this is. You put it on and thank Miles Davis for making such great music. If you're new to Miles Davis, and want to catch him at his most bopping best, then this is a great place to start.

Tracks:
1.) Walkin'
2.) Blue'n'Boogie
3.) Solar
4.) You Don't Know What Love Is
5.) Love Me Or Leave Me
